The Bookmark
The main purpose of my personal identity is to be remembered by anyone who comes across my work, and so I want everyone to "bookmark" me. The bookmark has moved beyond books and the icon has been used all over to represent saving/ remembering something important.
The bookmark represents an endless hunger to learn more, whether it be learning and developing new skills or even reading up on my interests or hobbies!
The Design
To start, I explored the origins of the letterforms of my initials 'ADLT.' Most interesting were the early Greek forms whose finally started to resemble our modern day latin characters.
Combined
These letters started to take a very geometric look which can be manipulated with ease.The final logo rests at the top of all materials as a symbolic bookmark.
